Happy #1 Lil' Corbi!!!

I can't believe our baby is 1!!! We had a cake and ice cream bash with our neighbors. They are all so good to us, and they love Corbin, so we wanted them to share his special day with us. Sure wish we could have had everyone with us!

Corbin's gift from Dad & Mom - The kids had a blast NASCARing him all over the neighborhood. He loves being outside, so we figured an outside toy was the best choice.

The Cakes - Corbin loves blocks & balls so we had block cakes & ball cupcakes.

He ate his cake a lot differently then I expected. I thought he would tear into it and go crazy, but he very meticulously took small bites and barely even got messy. These pics were after he had been at it for about 1/2 hour.

I'M DONE PEOPLE!!!

The Bash - This was all the neighbors I could fit in the frame. We love our neighborhood because of things like this. Whether it is drinking lemonade on Miss Denise's porch, doing impromptu pizza dinners on the lawn, or just holding our own bike & scooter rodeo every afternoon, we really enjoy being together. It's like the South I always read about.

Trying to play with all his gifts at once.

Maia's Ballet & Tap

They finally had parent day at Maia's ballet class so I could get some pictures of her. They only let us come watch 2 times a year. She is doing Tap and Ballet.

Their recital tap dance is to "Stray Cat Strut"

Swingin' Corbi

We went to the park for our neighbor Emmi Claire's birthday party and Corbin got his first ride in the swings.
As you can plainly see, he LOVED it!!!

Miss Roni swinging Corbin. She's the best!

Maia's New Bike

Maia decided she had grown too big for her bike (which was true.) The Windermere Garage Sale was coming up, so I told her that if she sold her bike and the toys she didn't play with anymore, then she could earn money to buy a new bike. She was great about getting rid of stuff and made enough money for a new bike, helmet, and Hannah Montana Barbie (that sings a totally annoying song we are all sick of.) She puts the Barbie in the bike bag and off they go to terrorize the neighborhood.

All Star Pitcher

Connor was invited to pitch for our All Star team again this year. For those who don't know, Connor was invited last year after he pitched 4 perfect innings against the All Star coach's son's rec team. We declined at first because half the games and practices are on Sunday, and we don't play baseball on Sunday. A couple days later we got an email from the coach saying if we would allow Connor to pitch for the team he would never be required to play on a Sunday, or any other day that was significant for our religion. Connor was thrilled, to say the least! We are so excited that they have allowed us the same privilege this year. Thanks Coach Hansen!!!

I know I have posted a bunch of other pics of Connor pitching, but I just can't get enough of it. I am so proud of his talent (in a good way :) ). Here are some pics I took at the game yesterday. He pitched a full game, and aside from 1 walk (which he swears was a bad call :) ) he had a perfect game, including 8 strike outs.
