Corbin finally got brave enough to take his first steps yesterday. He was 15 months and 22 days old. For his very first steps he just started following Cade around the house. Unfortunately I wasn't here so I didn't get it on video. These videos are after he had been at it awhile. We knew that as soon as he decided to do it he would take off.

Maia's Dance Recital
The Amazing Easy Bake Oven
The tastiest b-day gift around. :) To date Maia has cooked up 2 sugar cookies (pictured), 4 cakes and 2 pancakes. Whenever I'm baking something I just give her a couple spoonfuls of batter and she is completely giddy. I remember baking with my Easy Bake and it's super fun watching her have so much fun with the new and improved version.

Maia's 7th Birthday
Savannah, GA
The last weekend in May Connor had an All Star tournament in Statesboro, GA which is about 40 miles away from Savannah. We had never been to Savannah so we decided to go a day early and make a vacation out of it.
Tybee Island
We went to Tybee Island to take a Dolphin Tour. There's a pod of about 80 dolphins in the area and you go out on a boat and they're just swimming around all over the place. We didn't get any great pics, but you can see the fin of a couple. It was so fun! The kids (and adults) freaked every time we'd see one. We loved Tybee! The Georgia Coast is so unique. After our tour we ate fresh shrimp and crab at the marina. It was awesome! We are hoping to make it down again and rent a beach house for a few days.

The beautiful Georgia Low Lands
Captain Harvey let all the kids take a turn driving the skiff.

Corbin was so hot and tired (after getting up at 5:00 AM and not sleeping ONE WINK on the 5 1/2 hour drive). He screamed the whole tour, then the last 10 minutes finally fell asleep when I undid his life jacket. We tipped Captain Harvey pretty well for putting up with that. :)Downtown Savannah
Savannah is one of the oldest cities in the country. It was really cool to see all the old buildings and architecture.

Classic Cade!

The Tournament
Our team played 3 back-to-back games, 8 straight hours of baseball. I cant even tell you how many goldfish Corbin ate. They won 2 of their 3 games, losing to the team who is ranked #1 in the state by only 1 point. The last game they were down 3 - 11 and in the last inning, with 2 outs, they rallied and came back to win. It was so exciting!
